Akshaya Patra’s annual photography exhibition!

It’s once again time for Akshaya Patra’s annual photography competition! A Wall of Hope and Joy 2015 is scheduled to be held from 24th to 26th January in Bangalore. The exhibition will showcase a wonderful selection of Akshaya Patra’s mid-day meal programme, operations processes and of the beneficiaries enjoying their meal.

The selection featuring Akshaya Patra’s work will be divided thematically into several categories namely – ‘A belly full of fun’, ‘As you like it’, ‘Moments under a hopeful sky’, ‘Chasing dreams’ and ‘Feeding 1.4 million children. Every day.’

Akshaya Patra’s exhibition will also feature the top selection from the recently concluded ‘Click a Smile’ contest, the Foundation’s annual photography contest. Exceeding last year’s entries by double, the contest saw 1,500 entries from nearly 50 countries flooding in this time.

Aside from these images the exhibition will also host Akshaya Patra’s images taken by famous photographer Vicky Roy!

There is so much to see, with loads of information and entertainment to share. Take a walk down memory lane through these images and remember the exciting and poignant moments of youth, and reminisce over the emotions, experiences and learnings of growing up!
