Donate to Akshaya Patra for Joy of Giving 2014

The Joy of Giving Week (Daan Utsav) is marked by great efforts in generosity to bridge the gaps of social inequality. It is in pursuit of this goal that many donors partner with NGOs all over India like The Akshaya Patra Foundation to help alleviate suffering and provide opportunities to the under privileged sections of society. However with so many options to donate during Joy of Giving Week, making a choice as to which organisation and cause to support can become a little overwhelming.

That is why we have put together a list of ways you can donate to The Akshaya Patra Foundation for Joy of Giving 2014.

Make a monetary donation: If you would like to make a monetary contribution to The Akshaya Patra Foundation you have the option to transfer the money online, or through cheque or demand draft, or even through your GPRS activated mobile phone using ATOM or mCheck.

Vehicle Donation: Joy of Giving Week is all about the grand gestures. Donate a vehicle to The Akshaya Patra Foundation to help the organisation transport more of the healthy, tasty mid-day meals to more students across India.

Sponsor a School: Stretch the Joy of Giving Week to all year round by sponsoring the mid-day meals of a school for an entire year. This will give children an incentive to attend classes and move ahead to the next academic year.

Kitchen Equipment: Joy of Giving Week means meaningful contributions in any form. Help equip an Akshaya Patra kitchen with the machinery and utensils they need to provide hygienic, healthy food in adequate supply to over 1.4 million children every day.

Sponsor a child for a year: By donating Rs. 750 you can provide one child with the Akshaya Patra mid-day meal for an entire year. Making a recurring donation using the ECS Donation option will help you support a child every year.

This Joy of Giving Week choose to support a child, choose to support The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
